There has been much discussion at lubricant conferences about the benefits sustainable operations. But there’s been less conversation about the practical steps organisations should take. To propel the debate, Lubes’n’Greases and industry information provider ICIS to present a webinar offering concrete takeaways and case studies that will help companies build a robust sustainability strategy.
The event features Maurizio Abbondanza, Infineum’s business growth and sustainability director, who will be reflecting on his company’s sustainability journey and its future direction. Infineum released its first sustainability report this April, which set out its goal to cut carbon emissions per ton of product by a fifth by 2025.
Other speakers include Elaine Cohen, the founder-manager of sustainability consultancy Beyond Business. Elaine will be sharing her expertise on how companies can effectively disclose their sustainability activities.
Apu Gosalia will also talk about sustainability materiality in carbon footprinting, using an example from the lubricants industry. Apu is a partner at sustainability consultancy Fokus Zukunft and a contributing editor at Lubes’n’Greases.
There will be an opportunity to ask the three speakers questions after the presentations.
