Calumet Specialty Products Partners fourth quarter 2012 net income was up compared to the year earlier quarter, and its full year 2012 net income was far larger than in 2011. Kamaz, Russias biggest truck manufacturer, is now promoting Kamaz-branded heavy-duty motor oils developed with LLK International, the countrys biggest lube manufacturer. Arizona Distributors Join Forces

Brown Evans Distributing and Union Distributing merged to form Senergy Petroleum, which will distribute lubricants in Arizona and the U.S. Southwest. Terms were not disclosed. Universal Opens Dallas Warehouse

Rerefiner Universal Lubricants opened a 52,000 square foot lubricant warehouse and distribution center in leased space in Dallas, where it will serve as the primary distributor of Valvoline lubricants in that market. The new Dallas facility will also house an indoor tank farm to store the new lubricants that will be delivered in bulk. JX Reorganizes Lube Division

Japanese oil company JX Nippon is restructuring its lubricants division for greater efficiency. On Feb. 5, JX officials detailed the reforms as part of a strategic review of the lubricants sector. According to a company press release, JX will abolish the lubricant sales subdivision as well as the lubricant oil supply subdivision, which are separate bodies under the current structure. Pettit Oil Expands in Washington

Pettit Oil Co. acquired the lubricant distribution and other assets of PNEC Corp., which does business as SC Fuels, for an undisclosed amount.
