Rerefiner Universal Lubricants opened a 52,000 square foot lubricant warehouse and distribution center in leased space in Dallas, where it will serve as the primary distributor of Valvoline lubricants in that market.

The new Dallas facility will also house an indoor tank farm to store the new lubricants that will be delivered in bulk.

This area represents a great growth market for both our companies, said Rick Palmore, Universal Lubricants vice president of distribution and sales. The company already distributes Valvoline lubricants and chemicals in Kansas City and Wichita, Kan.

This new center positions us to better serve existing customers and generate new business from the growing number of environmentally responsible auto dealers, oil change installers, auto parts stores and retailers throughout the Dallas area, Universal Lubricants CEO John Wesley said. It is one of nine Universal Lubricants locations in Texas and one of four distribution centers our company has opened or expanded in the past year.

Universal Lubricants rerefinery in Wichita, processes used motor oil and produces 12 million gallons per year (about 783 barrels per day) of API Group II base oil for direct sale or blending into the companys Eco Ultra line lubricants.
