Pilot Chemical Company has partnered exclusively with Novvi to launch CalCare AOS, a fully biobased alpha olefin sulfonate surfactant, in the North American market. This collaboration aims to offer sustainable alternatives for the household, industrial, institutional, and personal care sectors. Pilot will serve as the sole sulfonator and distributor, utilizing Novvi’s renewable alpha olefin technology and commercial feedstocks. Production will occur at Pilot’s Middletown, Ohio, facility, with availability expected in late 2025.

Oleon has renamed its Brazilian subsidiary A.Azevedo Oleos to Oleon Brasil S.A. following its 2024 acquisition.
