German lubricant maker Eurolub GmbH said it has acquired Bizol, another German lube marketer, to expand its automotive service chemicals products line and to gain new motor oil production technologies.

OQ Lifts Force Majeure on German Plants

OQ Chemicals announced on May 29 it lifted its force majeure declaration for all products from its German plants in Oberhausen and Marl.

The Verification of Lubricant Specifications (UK) Ltd named as its new chairman Harald Oosting, who succeeds Jacquie Berryman. Currently president and CEO of Olyslager, Oosting has been involved in the lubricants industry for over 20 years. He has been a member of the VLS Board since 2018 and is also currently vice-president and director of the United Kingdom Lubricants Association, a role he has held since 2017.
