Lwart Will Expand Brazilian Rerefinery

Lwart Environmental Solutions said recently that it will expand its used lubricant rerefinery in Lençóis, Brazil, by 50%, making it one of the largest such facilities in the world. The expansion is due to come onstream in 2025.

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis signed an agreement to acquire Localpack S.A., a specialty chemical distributor active in Colombia. Among other products, Localpack distributes polyalphaolefin and synthetic esters, viscosity index improvers and additive packages and components for greases and lubricants.
