North Charleston, South Carolina-based Ingevity Corp. announced a general price increase effective Oct. 1 of 10% to 15% for all merchant rosin, rosin resins, distilled tall oil and tall oil fatty acid products associated with its industrial specialties portfolio. The increase is due to continued strong market demand as well as increasing raw materials and logistics costs.  Darrin Ward was named CEO of lubricants, antifreeze and chemicals wholesale supplier Coolants Plus of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jackson, Tennessee-based distributor Panther Petroleum after serving as chief operating officer. Ward succeeded Kurt Deimer, the company’s founding CEO.
