Dutch chemicals distributor Univar Solutions has acquired United Kingdom-based Brad-Chem, a manufacturer and supplier of specialty lubricant additives, solid lubricants and lubricant dispersants. With the deal comes Brad-Kem, a joint venture between Brad-Chem and its Belgian partner Kemat formed in 2021 to supply molybdenum disulfide power for grease making.

Petronas Lubricants International and Dumarey Group will join forces to advance carbon neutrality in the automotive sector and develop high-performance lubricants for alternative fuels and new energy vehicles.

SK Innovation announced its Q4 results and reported consolidated revenue of KRW 19.41 trillion (U.S. $13.4 billion) and operating profit of KRW 159.9 billion. The company ended 2024 with consolidated revenue of KRW 74.72 trillion and operating profit of KRW 315.5 billion. The Q4 turnaround was due to better refining margins and the inclusion of SK Innovation E&S’s operating profit following a merger in November, the company said.
