The oils have improved Noack volatility, cold crank viscosity and viscosity indices for blends of conventional passenger car and heavy-duty engine oil grades. The 110N base oil has a maximum volatility of 22 percent, cold crank viscosity of 1,350 centipoise at -25 degrees Celsius and a 105 minimum V.I., while the 225N base stock has cold crank viscosity of 2,800 centipoise at -20 C and a minimum V.I of 100, the base oil producer notes.
