Chevron Oronite recently affirmed its readiness for the May 2020 launch of the ILASC GF-6 passenger car motor oil specification with its introduction of OLOA 55600. The additive package has been thoroughly tested in real-world conditions, is compatible with hybrids and incorporates the company’s latest PCMO technology, Oronite says. OLOA 55600 will provide coverage for GM’s Dexos1, API SP and ILSAC GF-6 A & B performance standards.
