Jamie Brunk, lube study manager with HSB Solomon Associates, retired on Sept. 4. Brunk managed the base oil and wax portion of Solomon’s benchmarking and consulting businesses since 2004, as well as the “Worldwide Paraffinic Lube Refinery Performance Analysis” (Lube Study) between 2004 and 2016. Tim Langlais will take over the position. Langlais has served as a global base oil marketing executive most recently with Ergon and also with Phillips 66.
