Edward J. Palecki, a former general manager of the National Lubricating Grease Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, died Aug. 2 at the age of 91. He worked with Trans World Airlines in various management capacities for 34 years and led NLGI for six years after retiring from TWA. He is survived by sons Michael and Paul, daughters Mary, Carol, Ann Fierstos and Jean Ray Chubrilo, as well as 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
