Major national supplier of leading lubricant additive and synthetic basestock product lines is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to cover the Mid-Atlantic & Southeast region.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional (within the lubricant industry) who is capable of selling at the R&D/ Technical level.

Job functions include managing existing accounts, growing business with existing accounts and demonstrating growth through the addition of new accounts.

Primary focus will be selling performance lubricant additives and various synthetic basestocks to the lubricant industry.

This position will work closely with the lubricant formulator in recommending specific additives and/or basestocks so that the formulator can meet the desired targets.

Requirements –

Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 2 years sales experience within the lubricant industry.

Familiarity with the industrys lubricant companies and ability to build and develop business relationships within these companies.

Knowledge of lubricant additives (components & packages) and/or synthetic basestocks (esters, PAGs etc.).

Ability to seek out new customers and grow the territory.

Travel up to 50% and able to work independently.

STLE Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) a plus.
