Charting Interesting Times
The base oil market in the regions of Europe, Middle East and Africa has been somewhat unpredictable of late. A few of the disruptors include the fluctuating price of crude feedstock, partially induced by the ongoing trade war between the United States and China; the effects of ExxonMobils API Group II unit in Rotterdam coming onstream in February this year; and the continued application of sanctions on Iran, the Middle Easts number one Group I producer, which is making life very difficult for Gulf region traders trying to do business.
But something that is altogether more reliable is our latest Base Stock Guide for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In it, you can find details on the production capacities for about 130 mineral oil and nonconventional base oil producers across these three regions. The guide is also distributed with the July issue to all LubesnGreases EMEA print magazine subscribers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
This handy reference is part of a suite of invaluable base stock guides in print and electronic formats that are all available to download by visiting www.LubesnGreases.com and following the link to Market Reports.
