Dover Chemical Corp. has launched a light-colored sulfurized vegetable ester that the company says makes metalworking fluids more environmentally friendly. Doverlube LCS-10 is 100 percent biodegradeable, gives off no detectable hydrogen sulfide and has low odor. It is nonactive and uses no inhibitors. The product is suitable for use in many types of base oils and vegetable esters in many metalworking applications on various metals and alloys.

Water-Based Forging Lubricants

Condat Lubricants has introduced Condaforge 625, 625 RFU and 635 graphited lubricants for forging automotive and aerospace parts. They can be used on ferrous or nonferrous metals such as titanium, Inconel and aluminum. Condaforge 625, 625 RFU and 635 can be used in a variety of hot forging processes. In addition, they are ammonium free and odorless. Condaforge 635 and 625 can be diluted in water using common dosing systems. Condaforge 625 RFU (ready for use) is already diluted for use on crankshafts.

Gear Oils Take the Pressure

Engen Petroleum has launched Gengear XEP series industrial heavy-duty gear oil for systems operating at high temperatures and loads. The company says the gear oil meets all major industrial gear oil specifications and carries the Siemens MD approval for use in Flender gearboxes. Other benefits include protection against
micropitting, rust and corrosion protection, oxidation stability and foaming resistance. Gengear XEP grades are recommended for use in all industrial helical and spur-enclosed gear sets with circulation or splash lubrication systems. They can also be used in moderately loaded worm gear sets.

Synthetic Motor Oils for the
Far East

Neft Lubricants has introduced fully synthetic motor oils in SAE 0W-20 and 5W-20 viscosity grades. The company says its G-Energy Far East products are recommended for use in the latest models of gasoline engine passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, SUVs and minibuses produced in Japan, South Korea and the United States. The oils comply with API SN, ILSAC GF-5 or earlier API SM specifications.

Neat Cutting Fluid

Oelheld has introduced Sulfol LCI neat oil cutting fluid derived from low aromatic, solvent refined base oils and can be used on ferrous metals. The company says the benefits of using Sulfol LCI include aging stability; excellent viscosity-temperature performance; superior wetting, cooling and lubricating properties; and temporary corrosion protection. The oil is chlorine free for easy disposal.

Four Oils for the Urban Driver

Bizol has launched four motor oil products for the urban global premium car segment. Bizol Green contains an additive formula that the company says fights oil degradation and viscosity breakdown while the engine is idling in stop and go city traffic. Bizol Allround has been formulated to meet the requirements of at least 50 percent of drivers. The company says it provides excellent engine cleanliness and extreme temperatures performance. Bizol Technology is for cars using synthetic base oils meeting the latest motor oil specifications and requirements. Bizol Protect is for use in older cars to extend engine life. Containers for the 1-, 4- and 5-liter have been designed with a wider diameter cap for easier pouring. The 20-liter containers include a plastic spout.

Liqui Moly has relaunched its motorcycle line with 40 new products. The relaunch includes changing the name of the motorcycle line from Racing to Motorbike. New products are a series of motor oils for cross-country bikes as well as SAE 20W-50 oil and 10W-40 engine oils.
