Capturing Value

We present a mixed bag for you this month, full of buzzwords such as nanotechnology and cybersecurity. And while to some, these phrases may appear to be derived from an alien language, an underappreciation of their value as concepts – and their practical applications – could be damaging to many businesses involved in the lubricants industry.

Talking of value, over the past few months, the team at LubesnGreases headquarters has been busy reaching out to members of our audience in the base oil business to continue building our refinery capacities database. We collate the latest figures into our yearly Base Stocks Guide for Europe, Middle East and Africa wall chart. The 2018 edition of this invaluable resource will be published and delivered in July. This is all made possible and continues to grow through your participation, for which we thank you.

And July will be the month for additional advertising value. The July issue of LubesnGreases EMEA will carry our annual Readex Research advertising effectiveness survey. This annual survey asks a select group of magazine readers to share their perception of all the advertisements in the issue based on three criteria: Are they attention-getting? Are they believable? And, are they informative?

Once the feedback is compiled, every advertiser in the issue receives a detailed report showing how their advertisement performed against all the others in the issue, as well as individual feedback comments from the readers.
