Chevron Oronite has enhanced its range of olefin co-polymer viscosity modifiers with Paratone 8935E, a 35 shear stability index-rated, high-ethylene OCP designed for passenger car motor oils. Paratone has improved cold-temperature benefits over Paratone 8910 and other OCPs, the company said in a press statement.

High-Viscosity Addition to Nynas Base Oil Portfolio

Nynas has extended its naphthenics range with T 600, a highly refined oil with viscosity of 600 centistokes at 40C. T 600 is suitable for high-viscosity, high-solvency applications such as gear oil, metal rolling and forming, and is an ideal component for greases, where it offers savings of up to 50 percent on lithium soap, Nynas said.
