The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed the adoption of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals in the United States. Calumet will market LyondellBasells naphthenic base oil and white mineral oil starting Nov. 1 under a long-term, exclusive specialty products affiliation announced Friday. Valvoline International Inc. last week named Prista Oil Group to distribute its engine oils and other car care products in Central and Eastern Europe. Total Gains Vietnam Lubes Business

Total will acquire the shares of ExxonMobils holding company for its lubricants and specialties business in Vietnam, including a lube oil blending plant. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. An ExxonMobil affiliate signed an agreement to sell the shares, according to a company announcement Thursday. Additives Marketer Grows

Lube oil additives marketer Petroleum Chemicals has moved to a larger facility in Sacramento, Calif., to accommodate business and staff expansions. Petroleum Chemicals president Bob Scheetz said the new sales facility will give the company more flexibility as its business continues to grow.
