February 11, 2015Sasol will delay the final investment decision on a 96,000 barrels per day gas-to-liquids plant in Louisiana as part of a plan to conserve cash in response to lower international crude oil prices. February 11, 2015SK Lubricants posted a fourth-quarter operating profit of 71.4 billion South Korean won (U.S. $65 million), up 26.4 percent from 56.5 billion won in 2013s fourth quarter. For the full fiscal year, operating profit reached 290.3 billion won, up 86.3 percent from 155.8 billion won for 2013. February 11, 2015Clean Harbors will acquire Nuverra Environmental Solutions used motor oil collector subsidiary Thermo Fluids of Scottsdale, Ariz., for $85 million cash in a deal expected to close by early March. Neste Oil announced Feb. 4 it intends to change its name to Neste Corp. to reflect its orientation to non-petroleum products. Its Nexbase base oil brand and other trademarks will stay the same, a company spokesperson told Lube Report.
