Amalie Oil Acquires Delfin USA Plant

Amalie Oil on Monday announced it has acquired a 42-acre lubricant blending and packaging facility in South Carolina from Delfin Group USA. With 14 million gallons of tank storage, the deal brings the Tampa, Fla.-based companys total capacity to 32 million gallons. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has made public new documents regarding its preliminary risk assessment of medium- and long-chain chlorinated paraffins. Wax Plant in Belarus to Modernize

Belarusian business Mineral Wax Plant will upgrade its wax production and triple its finished lubricant capacity in 2016, the company told Lube Report recently. Based in Pukhovichi, Minsk region, Mineral Wax Plant is the only such enterprise in the country. We are in a phase of installation of new equipment for production of lubricants, a plant spokesperson told Lube Report. Bridgestone Retail Operations raised its offer to acquire Pep Boys to $17 per share in cash, or $947 million, after a New York City-based holding company one-upped Bridgestones original offer announced in October.
