Spectro Scientific announced yesterday that it has acquired fellow industrial fluids analysis and condition monitoring company, On-Site Analysis. Spectro, based in Chelmsford, Mass., absorbed the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-headquarted OSA late last year. Terms were not disclosed. Ashlands Valvoline segment reported operating income of $83 million during the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, up 10.7 percent from the same period a year earlier. Russian lube marketer Gazprom Neft Lubricants announced the opening of its first G-Energy Service-branded auto service center in Russia, part of its broader regional expansion into the automotive aftermarket.
