Growth Flat for U.S. Lubes

Freedonia Groups latest study forecasts U.S. lubricants demand to expand by less than one percent per year to 2.5 billion gallons in 2018, valued at $27.5 billion, a reversal from a 0.5 percent per year drop in demand between 2008 and 2013. Fuchs to Boost Production Down Under

Fuchs announced plans last week to build a new manufacturing plant near Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. WD-40 posted $10.3 million in net income for the quarter ending Feb. 28, down 1 percent from the year-ago period, with net sales up 9 percent at $94.2 million.
