Bel-Ray Enters Russian Market

Bel-Ray Co. has formed a new partnership in Russia with Texoil, which will distribute Bel-Rays general industrial and No-Toxlubricants across the country.

Texoil currently distributes lubricants, and supplies earthmoving and mining equipment for Reschke and ESCO. Based in St. Petersburg, Texoil has six sub-distributors across Russia and said it plans to add another 10 sub-distributors over the next few years. The company has 11 sales engineers working across northwest Russia.

Bel-Ray gives us an excellent opportunity to enter new lubricant market segments and to open new prospects for our customers, said Alexander Kondratyev, general director, Texoil.

Ian Bowmer, internal sales manager for Bel-Rays industrial division, said partnering with Texoil was an opportunity to develop its network in Russia. They are very keen to develop the brand across the whole of Russia, and the way the Russian industrial market is developing, the timing of this new and exciting partnership is ideal, Bowmer said.

Farmingdale, N.J.-based Bel-Ray has produced non toxic, food grade lubricants since 1968. The company sells more than 100 food grade products for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, cosmetics, personal hygiene and packaging industries. Bel-Rays industrial lubricants include chain lubricants, gear lubricants, hydraulic oils, compressor oils and greases.
