Claremont, Calif.-based chemical distributor Tri-iso is now representing Rhein Chemie Lubricant Oil Additives in 11 western U.S. states, has opened a new regional warehouse in Oregon, and has promoted Jason Scott to general manager and Kevin Dostal to general sales manager, enabling them to become equity partners in the firm.

Last month Rhein Chemies Lubricant Oil Additives Div., Chardon, Ohio, appointed Tri-iso as its western distributor for lubricant and metalworking fluid additives. Part of Germanys Lanxess Group, Rhein Chemie offers additive components and packages to improve extreme pressure resistance, antiwear performance, steel corrosion protection, yellow metal protection, antioxidants and performance packages for hydraulic, turbine, compressor, gear and multipurpose oils and greases.

Tri-iso completed the start-up and stocking of a new regional warehouse in Portland, Ore., to support the Pacific Northwest. The warehouse will be used for our entire product line, including lubricant additives, Mark Negast, business manager for lubricant additives, told Lube Report.

Also last month Jason Scott, an 11-year veteran of Tri-iso, was promoted to general manager, and Kevin Dostal was promoted to general sales manager, enabling both to become equity participants in the company. President Edward Lysek and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Deborah Lysek continue to have ownership in the company.
