Specialty synthetic lubricants producer Anderol Inc. has opened a new warehouse in Guangzhou, on the Pearl River Delta in the Guanzhou Free Trade Zone, to provide faster delivery response time.

The opening of our warehouse is evidence of Chinas strategic importance in Anderols overall global growth plans, John Pannucci, chief operating officer and general manager for Anderol, told Lube Report. This facility is centrally located to support convenient and efficient shipment – within one to two weeks – to all the key markets in Asia.

The warehouse will hold the companys main industrial products, along with aviation lubricants under the Royco brand. Delivery will be from our manufacturing facilities in the United States, Canada and Europe, he said. According to Pannucci, Anderol envisions eventually formulating finished synthetic lubricants and greases in China to meet the needs, requirements and requests of its customer base.

He said Anderol has been selling in China for more than 30 years. The company opened an Anderol Representative office in Guangzhou in January 2006. Presently, we have eight Anderol employees in China, including a general manager, technical service, customer service and lubricant sales teams, Pannucci said. Anderol, which is a Chemtura company, supplies specialty synthetic lubricants serving the air compression, aviation, food and beverage, military, mining, oil and gas, and power generation markets.

Pannucci said Chemtura also uses other warehouses in Asia that strategically serve other Chemtura companies respective markets.
