Award-winning business editor and reporter George Gill joined LNG Publishing Co. last week as editor of Lube Report. Gill replaces Tim Sullivan, who has been promoted to managing editor of LubesnGreases Europe, Middle East & Africa Edition, scheduled to launch in mid-2007. Beginning next week, Lube Report will be emailed from George Gill, george@LNGpublishing.com. To avoid delivery problems, subscribers should enter that address in your address books or otherwise white list it.
George Gill joins LNG from the Loudoun Times-Mirror in Leesburg, Va., where he was business editor and a reporter for 15 years.
Since 1994, Gill has reported and been responsible for the Times-Mirrors business section.He has won Virginia Press Association top awards for business and financialnews coverage and for page design.
Gill replaces Lube Reports founding editor Tim Sullivan, who becomes managing editor of a new edition of LubesnGreases magazine for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, scheduled to begin publication in mid-2007. While preparing for the new magazines launch, Sullivan will continue to contribute both to Lube Report and LubesnGreases magazine.
