Kendall Is In at Goodyear Outlets

Kendall motor oils are now offered at 1,800 U.S. Goodyear Gemini tire and auto service outlets, according to an announcement Monday by Kendall owner ConocoPhillips Co.

The agreement marks the second auto service segment initiative announcedthis month by ConocoPhillips, which now claims tobe the fourth-largest lubricant supplier in the United States. Earlier the company unveiled Lube Shop, a signage program for independent quick-lube operators.

Under terms of the agreement with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Goodyear Gemini centers will offer Kendall GT-1 Full Synthetic, Synthetic Blend, High Mileage and other branded oils, as well as automatic transmission fluids, gear oils and greases. Kendall is one of four passenger car motor oil brands owned by Houston-based ConocoPhillips, the others being 76, Phillips 66 and Conoco.

Goodyear, which is based in Akron, Ohio, is the worlds largest tire manufacturer. It also supplies other automotive products and rubber chemicals for other applications.
