The Michigan Business Development Program awarded a $250,000 grant to casting lubricants manufacturer Chem-Trend, which is planning to invest $7.7 million to expand its research and development facility at its headquarters in Howell, Michigan, creating 25 jobs. Chandler, Arizona-based Maverick Performance Products announced a long-term trademark license agreement with VP Racing Fuels of San Antonio, Texas, to market, manufacture and sell VP-branded lubricants in the United States, Canada and Mexico, with availability starting in the first quarter of 2017.
