Russian oil major Lukoil held an opening ceremony yesterday for a new bulk lubricant storage and transfer terminal on the bank of the Danube River at its blending plant in Vienna, Austria. Valtris Specialty Chemicals acquired Akcros Holdings Ltd. Both U.S.-based companies supply specialty chemicals such as additives and intermediates used in and as lubricants. Eastman Aviation Solutions was selected as the main engine oil supplier for the conversion and modernization of Hong Kong-based global carrier Cathay Pacific Airways fleet of approximately 150 aircraft.
