Industrial lubricants manufacturer Isel Inc. of Florida recently opened a new distribution hub in Columbus, Ohio.

We do production via micro-batch, so we dont have giant blending tanks, Isel Marketing Manager Dan Sandler told Lube Report. It is a manufacturing plant. The 24,000 square foot facility opened in early June.

In addition to being an industrial center, Columbus offered a variety of logistical advantages. Its really well-placed for distribution and shipping, Sandler said. It allows us to expand our one-day shipping times to the vast majority of the eastern United States.

He said the companys focus is on refrigeration and air compressor lubricants. According to its website, Isels other products include chain, gas compressor, and gear lubricants, as well as hydraulic fluids.

Isel Inc. was founded in 1992 in Jacksonville, Fla., where it formulates, blends and packages its products at its main manufacturing facility.
