BRB International plans a 4.5-hectare (11.2-acre) expansion at its headquarters location in the Netherlands, where it will build a new oil additives plant.

Recently BRB – a producer and supplier of silicones, additives and chemicals – announced it signed a letter of intent with the municipality of Leudal to enable the company to realize its plans for an expansion at the Ittervoort industrial estate.

As a result of the companys expansion plan, half of the 9-hectare expansion planned by the municipality has already been accounted for. The expansion of the Ittervoort industrial estate can now be tailored to the requirements of BRB, the company said in an announcement.

Were delighted that we can realize our planned expansion so close to the parent company in Ittervoort, as it will allow us to manage our business activities in our target countries even more effectively from one location, BRB CEO R. Pinckaers said in a press release.

According to its web site, BRB manufactures oil additives for a wide range of applications in the automotive and industrial market. Examples include driveline and engine oil additive packages, aftermarket additives, liquid and solid viscosity index improvers and specialties. The company also offers an extensive range of lubricants and greases for different applications.

BRB has manufacturing sites in Europe, Asia and the United States. It has more than 130 employees and a worldwide supply network with offices and warehouses in the United Kingdom, Poland, U.S., Malaysia, Australia, China and Singapore.
