Industrial Innovations Buys Advance Automation

Wyoming, Mich.-based Industrial Innovations has acquired Advance Products Corp.s die casting Automation division. Terms were not disclosed.

The new entity will do business as Advance Automation, an Industrial Innovations company. Operations will be consolidated at a single Industrial Innovations location.

With this [acquisition] we can be a one stop shop for automation and lubrication solutions across the die casting, foundry and metalworking industries, said Industrial Innovations president Troy Turnbull, in a press release last week.

Advance Automation supplies die casting automation and central lube systems, with servo ladlers, robot extractors, temperature control systems and die spray and plunger tip lubricating systems. Going forward, we believe that Industrial Innovations, with its extensive lubrication management experience, will do an excellent job of maintaining the quality of the Advance Automation brand, said Advance Product Corp.s president, John Kraklau.

Industrial Innovations sells Spra-Rite brand of industrial lubrication systems to the metal forming, machining, stamping and die casting industries.
