Shell Lubricants notified U.S. customers earlier this month that prices for Shell brand finished lubricants will generally increase by up to 4 percent, effective April 15.
This adjustment is due in part to increasing costs of raw materials used in the production and delivery of our products, Shell stated in its March 11 letter to customers.
In the letter, the company noted that in certain instances, the effective date of change and amount of price change for specific products may be at a later date and/or an amount outside of the 4 percent range.
