Additives maker Infineum International on Monday outlined new assignments for its senior leadership team, including Mark Struglinski, Trevor Russell and Sara Lefcourt, that will go into effect Feb. 1.

The Milton Hill, U.K.-based company appointed Mark Struglinski, currently vice president of sales and marketing, to succeed Shaun Kennedy, who is retiring, as vice president of technology. Struglinski will continue to work out of Linden Business and Technology Center in Linden, N.J. Struglinski joined the former Exxon Chemical in 1984, working exclusively in the lubricating oil additives business.

Trevor Russell will switch from vice president of supply to vice president of sales and marketing, and will also assume additional responsibility as Infineums chief strategy officer. Russell will remain based at the Milton Hill Business and Technology Center in Abingdon, U.K. He joined Exxon Chemical in 1980, working mainly in the lubricating oils and fuel additives business. In 1991 he became worldwide manager for passenger car motor oil additives based in Linden, and for the two years prior to the formation of Infineum was European sales director, based in the U.K.

Infineum promoted Sara Lefcourt, now crankcase global business manager, to vice president of supply. Lefcourt will be accountable for manufacturing, process technology, supply chain and supply planning operations, and health, safety and environment. She will remain based in Linden. In her 30 years of experience with the former Exxon and Exxon Chemical Companies, Lefcourt has worked in process engineering, project planning, marketing and sales.

Shaun Kennedy elected to retire on Jan. 31 after 32 years combined with Exxon and Infineum. His passion for the business and technology, his willingness to challenge and offer innovative solutions, and his energy and commitment will be missed, said Infineum CEO Dominique Fournier.

Set up in 1999, Infineum is a joint venture between ExxonMobil and Shell.
