Passenger car registrations in the European Union grew 10% to almost 1.1 million units in June, compared to the same month last year, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association reported. During the first half of 2021, such registrations jumped 25% to 5.4 million, compared to the first six months of 2020. United Kingdom sales – still tracked by ACEA – were up 28% for June at 186,128 units, and were up 39% for the first half of this year at 909,973.
