Spanish oil major Repsol reported that second-quarter operating income for its lubricants business was €5 million (U.S. $5.9 million) higher year-on-year, mainly due to higher margins across all its products segments. According to its interim management report, the lubricants business was also up €11 million year-on-year for the first half of 2020, due in part to the contribution made by the company’s international lubricants businesses in Mexico and Southeast Asia.
