COVID Didn’t Change Russian Lube Habits

Russian motorists did not significantly change their engine oil buying or changing habits during the height of the coronavirus pandemic last year, and even if some patterns changed slightly, consumers’ behavior has almost returned to pre-pandemic levels, a market study found.

Under a development strategy for joint activities, Russia’s Lukoil and Rostec agreed to cross purchase goods and services, including but not limited to motor oils, hydraulic oils and gas turbine lubricating oils. Rostec is the State Corporation for the Promotion of the Development, Manufacture and Export of High Tech Products.
