January 22, 2019Batley, England-based Duckhams Oil signed an agreement with Ahmad Yar Group to distribute its lubricants throughout Afghanistan. Hans Jensen Lubricators, headquartered in Hadsund, Denmark, appointed Stefan Sletting Nielsen as chief commercial officer. Independent lube manufacturer Fuchs Lubricants appointed Laura Morrey as product developer and manager.
Correction
January 22, 2019An article in the Jan. 8 issue included data about market shares of marine lubricant suppliers, some of which were disputed by one company. Lukoil Marine Lubricants claims to supply 14 percent of global volume lubricants used by the shipping industry, which it estimates to be between 1.9 million and 2 million metric tons per year.
