AP Oil Singapore will distribute lubricants in China through its newly incorporated subsidiary, AP Oil Singapore (Chongqing) Ltd., a 51-49 joint venture between it and Chongqing New Era Lubricant Co. In a recent report on global isostearic acid demand, Persistence Market Research Ltd. found that by 2020, the Asia Pacific region will have the highest demand for the fatty acid used in metalworking fluid additives and biolubricants.
