Used Oil Recycling Grows in China

China offers great opportunity for progress in the recycling of used lubricants - both in terms of the volume recycled and the quality of products produced, an industry insider told a recent conference in Moscow.

Solvay Starts Surfactants Plant

Solvay recently began producing specialty surfactants at its new alkoxylation plant in Singapore, which it said is the largest of its kind in Asia.

Fuchs Petrolubs supervisory board appointed Timo Reister - a Shanghai-based member of the German lubricant producers group management committee since 2014 - as executive board member responsible for the Asia-Pacific region and Africa, effective Jan. 1, 2016. Chevron Lubricants Lanka won a contract to supply 1.1 million liters of lubricants to the Ceylon Electricity Board.
