API Renewal Period Opens Jan. 1

Worldwide, more than 12,000 engine oil products are licensed to display the American Petroleum Institutes service mark, known as the donut, and the institutes starburst certification mark. And every one of these licenses is going to expire if it is not renewed promptly between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2015, Kevin Ferrick of API reminded recently.

Nynas Commences New Singapore Hub

Global demand for rubber process oils will grow at a cumulative average rate of 2.5 percent from 2013 through 2023, according to Kline & Co. The U.S. consulting firm predicts Asia will have the fastest growth during that period – an average of 3.7 percent. The Qingdao State Oceanic Administrations Office of Polar Expeditions selected Qingdao Copton Technology Co. to supply lubricants and antifreeze for its expeditions.
