Japan’s finished lubricant production decreased 5% in February, while domestic lubricant sales surged 28%, according to data released today by a government agency.

Sales of motorcycles and scooters in five Southeast Asia countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand – decreased 5% to 929,198 in January, compared to 977,193 the same month last year, according to Asean Automotive Federation data. Sales in Indonesia, the largest market in the region, decreased 4% to 592,658.
