Savita Commissions Synthetic Ester Plant

India’s Savita Oil Technologies Ltd. commissioned a new synthetic ester manufacturing plant, citing opportunities in new product categories and the burgeoning sustainability movement. The plant is designed to manufacture synthetic esters for electrical transformer fluids, as well as immersion coolants and battery coolants for electric vehicles.

Gulf Oil Blends S-Oil’s Lubes in India

S-Oil is contracting Gulf Lubricants Oil India Ltd. to blend and distribute its finished lubes in India – the first time S-Oil lubes have been manufactured outside its home country of South Korea.

In September, sales of new automobiles in Japan reached 437,493, an 11% increase from 395,163 in the same month last year, according to data released by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association.
