Greenbriar Equity Group of Rye, New York, acquired quick lube operator Oil Changers from Trivest Partners LP for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 1984, Oil Changers has 56 locations in California and Hawaii.  Kingsport, Tennessee-based Eastman Chemical is increasing list and off list prices April 1 on three types of neopentyl glycol – molten, 90 and glycol platelets – by 27 cents per pound or 60 cents per kilogram in North America and Latin America. NPG is used as a building block in the production of synthetic lubricants.
