Lubrizol Expands Singapore Innovation Center
Lubrizol is expanding its Southeast Asia Innovation Center in Singapore with new synthesis, analytical and physical-sciences laboratory capabilities, strengthening its ability to develop products locally, the company announced in a press release on Monday.
The Jurong center, which opened in 2025, will also expand local talent development through Learning Labs Singapore, a STEM education initiative. The 15,000-square-meter facility supports research and product development across mobility, infrastructure, mining, data technology, beauty, personal care and healthcare. Lubrizol said the expansion will deepen collaboration with customers and regional partners.
The expansion adds to Lubrizol’s growing Southeast Asian footprint, which includes new offices in Indonesia and Vietnam and a joint service center with IMCD Vietnam focused on industrial lubricants.
HF Sinclair Launches Direct-to-chip Cooling Fluid
HF Sinclair’s Lubricants & Specialties business has launched Innovate DTC25, a propylene glycol-based direct-to-chip cooling fluid for data centers running artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads.
The premixed fluid is formulated with propylene glycol and deionized water and follows the Open Compute Project’s PG25 specification for heat transfer fluids. It uses organic acid technology inhibitors for corrosion protection and is free of nitrite, amine, phosphate and silicate. HF Sinclair said the formulation also provides freeze protection, leak detection and biostatic protection.
The launch expands Innovate’s liquid cooling portfolio beyond immersion cooling as higher rack densities increase demand for direct-to-chip systems. HF Sinclair said the fluid is designed to simplify installation by eliminating on-site mixing and provide consistent performance across cooling systems.
Alex Buczek, HF Sinclair’s director of new business development, said the company’s experience developing fluids for demanding OEM applications had informed the new product.
