New Offroad Transmission Fluid from Total
TotalEnergies has launched Dynatrans AGC, a universal tractor transmission oil developed for modern agricultural and off-highway equipment. The product is approved by AGCO and meets the latest specifications for Fendt, Valtra and Massey Ferguson machinery. It is designed for transmissions, hydraulic systems, power take-offs and wet brakes. TotalEnergies said Dynatrans AGC uses an advanced additive package to provide wear protection, oxidation resistance and shear stability while maintaining consistent friction performance under demanding operating conditions.
The formulation is intended to reduce the number of lubricants required across mixed equipment fleets, helping simplify inventory management and lower the risk of incorrect product use. Based on technology already used in agricultural and construction applications, the oil is designed to support equipment performance and durability while meeting original equipment manufacturer requirements. Ester-based Transformer Fluid for Southeast Asia
Hyrax Oil Sdn. Bhd. has signed distribution and technical service agreements in Bangkok to expand sales of its Hyrax Estramol ester transformer fluids into Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. Metson Power (Thailand) Co. Ltd. will distribute Hyrax’s mineral and ester transformer oils and industrial lubricants across the five markets, while Eternity Technology Engineering Co. Ltd. will provide transformer retrofilling, engineering support, technical training and specialist services in Thailand. The agreements support Hyrax’s palm oil based natural and modified ester transformer fluids, which meet International Electrotechnical Commission standards and are designed for applications requiring biodegradable and fire resistant insulating fluids. The partners plan to develop a prototype distribution transformer and begin retrofilling field trials for evaluation by Thai electricity utilities. The agreements also establish a new export channel for Malaysian manufactured transformer fluids while expanding engineering cooperation between Malaysia and Thailand.
Great Wall Lubricants Launches Three New Transmission Fluids
Sinopec’s Great Wall Lubricants has introduced three passenger vehicle transmission fluids, expanding its automotive aftermarket portfolio in China. Launched on July 24, the range includes ATF X+ premium automatic transmission fluid for high-end vehicles, ATF S automatic transmission fluid for mainstream passenger cars and ETF X+ gearbox fluid for battery electric and hybrid vehicles. Great Wall Lubricants said the products were developed using original equipment manufacturer technology and quality standards. ATF X+ is compatible with six-speed and higher automatic transmissions, including ZF eight-speed and Mercedes-Benz nine-speed units, and completed more than one million kilometers of vehicle testing without lubrication anomalies. ATF S is designed for four- to six-speed transmissions used by manufacturers including GM, Ford and Chrysler. ETF X+ provides electrical insulation, copper corrosion protection, anti-foaming performance and low-temperature flow for electric vehicle gearboxes. The company said the launch expands its automotive lubrication portfolio and EasyCar ecosystem business.
