Lubrication Engineers is Expanding

Industrial lubricants manufacturer Lubrication Engineers is investing U.S. $10 million on an expansion of its Wichita production facility, according to the Wichita Business Journal. Lubrication Engineers, founded in 1951, produces high-performance industrial lubricants and reliability products used in sectors such as mining, power generation, food processing, oil and gas, and heavy manufacturing. The company operates a 150,000-square-foot production facility in Wichita and serves customers in more than 60 countries. It is owned by private-equity firm Aurora Capital Partners.

A period of aggressive growth has seen Lubrication Engineers complete three acquisitions, including Royal Purple’s industrial lubricants business, RSC Bio Solutions and Southwestern Petroleum Lubricants. Paul Vallis, who took over as CEO of the company in December last year, said the lubricants manufacturer is gearing up for its largest expansion yet.
