Expanded EV Coolant Range from Arteco
Coolant company Arteco has expanded its Freecor EV Milli range with two low-conductivity coolants for battery electric vehicles. These monoethylene glycol-based fluids offer conductivity below 100 μS/cm, meeting GB 29743.2 and ASTM D8566 standards for safe indirect cooling of batteries, motors and power electronics.
Freecor EV Milli 20 (Si-OAT) and Freecor EV Milli 30 (P-OAT) use organic additive technologies, allowing for flexibility to match cooling system designs. The range improves electrical safety, reduces short-circuit risk and assists thermal performance for longer battery life and faster charging. It also provides corrosion protection and flux stabilization for aluminium components. Available as ECO coolants, they incorporate bio-based or recycled materials via certified mass balance. The new products are now available through Arteco’s distribution network, with technical documentation accessible upon request.
Lift-off for Rymax Apollo Range
Rymax Lubricants has launched its Apollo XQ engine oil range, the company’s first to meet the new API SQ specification, the latest global standard for engine protection and performance. Introduced in November 2025, the range includes two ultra-low-viscosity grades, 0W-8 and 0W-12, marking the first 0W-12 product in Rymax’s portfolio. Designed for modern passenger cars, including hybrids and fuel-efficient vehicles, both grades comply with JASO GLV-1 requirements used by brands such as Toyota, Lexus, and Mazda. Formulated with advanced base oils and balanced additives, Apollo XQ reduces internal friction, protects critical engine components, and maintains stability under extreme temperatures. This results in improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and enhanced engine durability. With this launch, Rymax strengthens its focus on innovation and sustainability, delivering high-performance lubrication solutions aligned with evolving automotive technologies.
Rolls-Royce Gives Thumbs Up to Fuchs MWF
German independent lubricants company Fuchs gained approval for its Ecocool Global 1000 water-miscible cutting fluid under Rolls-Royce specification CSS 129/131 (Cat. 1); one of the most demanding aerospace standards. This adds to existing approvals from Airbus, Safran, Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin, ASM and machine toolmakers DMG MORI and GROB. The certification positions Ecocool Global 1000 as a single, globally deployable solution for precision machining of titanium, nickel alloy and aluminum across aerospace, semiconductor and medical technology industries. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏
