Caltex Taps Santy Trading as its Bahrain Distributor
Caltex Lubricants appointed Santy Trading as its official distributor in Bahrain, expanding access to Chevron lubricant products across automotive and industrial segments. The appointment follows a distribution agreement between Santy Trading, a division of Santy Excavation and Construction, and Chevron Trading and was formalized at a signing ceremony at the Gulf International Convention Centre attended by company executives and industry representatives. Under the agreement, Santy Trading will distribute Caltex’s full lubricant portfolio in Bahrain, including automotive, industrial, marine and commercial applications, using its established local network and market knowledge. The partnership links Caltex’s global lubricant technology with on-the-ground distribution capabilities to support customers across the kingdom. The move underscores continued investment by global lubricant suppliers in Middle Eastern markets, where demand is supported by transport, construction, marine and industrial activity.
Itochu Corp. and Castrol Sign MoU
Itochu Corp. signed a memorandum of understanding with Castrol and Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation to promote adoption of liquid cooling technologies for data centres in Japan as operators face rising energy use and higher heat loads driven by artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. Under the agreement, Castrol will supply cooling fluids and related technical services including testing preventive maintenance and training. Itochu will support commercial development and supply-chain considerations from an energy-sector perspective while Itochu Techno-Solutions will provide system design implementation and operational support. Interest in liquid cooling is increasing as air-based approaches reach practical limits and operators seek methods to remove heat at the source improve efficiency increase compute density and reduce reliance on central air conditioning. The companies plan to develop deployment models that balance reliability safety and energy performance through pilot installations partner collaboration and customer training. The initiative reflects growing focus on energy-efficient data-centre infrastructure in Japan as operators manage power consumption and expanding workloads.

Castrol India Ltd launched a range of aesthetic care products for passenger cars and two wheelers under its Auto Care brand, expanding its presence in do it yourself vehicle maintenance. The products will be sold through auto spare shops accessory retailers workshops and major e commerce platforms including Amazon.
