Afton Taps SSKTama to be Indonesia Distributor
Afton Chemical named PT Sari Sarana Kimiatama (SSKTama) as its distributor for the independent lubricant segment in Indonesia. The country is one of the region’s largest lubricant markets, with annual consumption of about 1.3 billion liters. SSKTama imports and distributes industrial chemicals, speciality additives, processing oils and lubricants to the automotive, coatings, plastics, consumer goods and manufacturing sectors. Afton said the partnership will support expansion by leveraging SSKTama’s market presence, logistics capability and relationships with independent blenders. Afton executive Sean Spencer said in a press release that Indonesia is a priority market and the collaboration will enhance local support. SSKTama President Director Donna Kurniawan said the company looks forward to serving Afton customers.

New Bike Brake Fluid from Ravenol
Germany’s Ravenol expanded its performance fluids portfolio with Racing Brake Fluid R 340+, launched at the end of November. Developed for professional motorsport, it is also approved for on-road use under the DOT 4 specification. R 340+ is formulated with borate esters and glycol ethers, among other additives to withstand severe thermal, chemical and mechanical stress. Ravenol says the fluid provides high density, low compressibility and strong material compatibility for precise braking response under demanding conditions. The company reports a dry boiling point of 342°C and a wet boiling point of 210°C, giving performance margin for sprint and endurance racing in cars and motorcycles. Ravenol says the fluid maintains stable braking power under sustained heat, offering racing-grade capability with dependable road use.

Total and Q-Auto Extend Supply Agreement
TotalEnergies Marketing Qatar and Q-Auto LLC have renewed their exclusive lubricants supply agreement until 2028. Announced on 18 November 2025 in Doha, the extension ensures TotalEnergies’ Quartz premium engine oils continue to serve Q-Auto’s authorised service centres for Audi, Volkswagen, and Skoda vehicles. Since 2020, the partners have supplied fully synthetic lubricants designed for modern hybrid and conventional engines. Q-Auto will continue offering two flagship formulations: Quartz Ineo Xtra Long Life 0W-20, supporting fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, and Quartz Ineo Long Life 0W-30, engineered for durability across varied conditions. TotalEnergies’ Thomas Vigneron said the renewal reinforces both companies’ commitment to performance, safety, and customer experience, while Q-Auto CEO Ahmed Shariefi noted that the collaboration ensures manufacturer-approved protection for customers’ engines. Q-Auto, established in 2012, represents several premium automotive brands, while TotalEnergies – active in Qatar since 1935 – maintains interests across energy, petrochemicals, renewables, and lubricants.
